Practice

Do 30″ of the trajectory exercise on one string, followed by 30″ of bowing on that string. Repeat on all four strings. Practice daily, as part of your warmup.

Common Mistakes

Make sure that the silver ferrel of the bow is *completely flush* to the string– if it’s not, the angle will be off!

As you trace the curve of the stick of the bow, move as slowly as you can, noticing your breathing.

Watch the rate at which your right hand traces the stick of the bow– your right hand should move at the same speed throughout the tracing motion.
